Elizabeth Stone, as president and owner, has created an award winning, multi million events company, The Stone Kitchen Catering & Special Events. Her remarkable energy and relentless passion have allowed her, over and over again, to present clients with extraordinary experiences, superb service, fabulous food and exceptional event design.
The Stone Kitchen began, in her mother's kitchen, in the late 1980's, when Elizabeth was asked to prepare food for a christening. What started as a favor for a friend has blossomed into a booming business that is Houston's premier full-service catering and events company. During the twenty years, Elizabeth has planned and catered over 10,000 events: from intimate seated dinners to large scale grand openings and charity events all over the state of Texas and Louisiana; from the 60th anniversary celebration for 1800 people for Houston's most prestigious prep school, to event managing and catering the christening of a 300' tanker at the Port of Houston for 600 people.
