Brewmasters Craft Beer Festval - September 5-6. Moody Gardens Galveston

Volunteer for Brewmsters 2012

Three Year Milestone

Wow, this is the third year of BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival and we cannot wait for Labor day 2012! The past two years were a blast, both exciting and entertaining (most everyone loosens up after a few glasses of beer). So here we are in the third year and once again we get to partake in three of our most favorite pastimes – food, friendship and beer!

BrewMasters is a beer-lovers paradise featuring 400 craft and specialty brews, and hard to source brews not readily available to the Texas consumer. Doubling the size of 2010's inaugural event, more than 14,000 are expected to attend this holiday weekend foam fest honoring true Americana. The three-day celebration will showcase two signature events: the Brew HaHa Grand Tastings and BrewLicious in the Ballroom, and we want your help!

We want to thank all of the volunteers that participated in 2010 and 2011. Your hard work made BrewMasters Beer Festival a success as well as an enjoyable and memorable experience! We cannot wait to see you all again and to add new faces as our volunteers and friends!

Please read the below information carefully and fill out the volunteer registration form fully. Please remember, volunteers represent BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival to the patrons enjoying the event, so if not drinking during the event seems disappointing, then volunteering may not be for you. If you are looking for a great way to meet new people, educate patrons about craft beer, and mingle with industry representatives, then this is the volunteer opportunity for you! We want fun, friendly, dependable volunteers!

Shorts, khakis, jeans, skirts are all appropriate for bottoms. Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be standing a good portion of your volunteer shift.

Attendance & Check-In

We are counting on you! Please be on time for your shift time and if you are going to be unable to attend, please let us know immediately.

You will need to check in at least 15 minutes prior to your shift start time. The location of the volunteer check-in area will be sent out in the volunteer informational email prior to the beginning of BrewMasters.

Rules & Responsibilities

We allow all of our volunteers to taste the products they will be pouring before the event begins so that you will know what to suggest when patrons ask for a recommendation. Under No Circumstances, may volunteers over indulge. If over indulgence on site is apparent or suggested, the volunteer will be immediately removed from the event. Please remember that the BrewMasters Rules are in place to make the event enjoyable for everyone.

There are many posts that volunteers may have during BrewMasters. The main responsibility will be to pour beer at the brewery tables. You do not need to be knowledgeable just have a great attitude and be ready to welcome and interact with guests! Some volunteers may be asked to help with the check-in process, which may mean greeting guests and handing out mini-mugs/programs. Others may help refill ice tubs and beer supplies throughout the event.
